Concerned Citizens of Rosepine:

The Town of Rosepine will continue to operate and meet your needs in spite of concerns and unknowns over COVID-19. Since Gov. John Bel Edwards has issued a statewide “stay at home” directive, and utility employees are considered essential, I do feel it is in the best interest of the public and staff to make some adjustments during this time. Therefore, until further notice I will be implementing the following.

The Town Hall lobby will be closed to the public. Office hours (for calls only) will be 7:30 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday. To pay tickets online please use the website: quickcourt.biz/rosepine. Water payments can be made by phone during office hours, mail, online, or by drop-box. Non-emergency water telephone number is 337-463-8908. Emergency after hours number is (337) 226-9448 or (337) 226-9457.

If you have any questions or concerns please call Town Hall at 337-463-8908.

Let’s all work together to get through this uncertain time.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Donna W. DuVall

Mayor

Mayor Donna Duvall wants to inform our customers and residents that we are still available to meet your needs.

The Rosepine Police Department is taking precautionary actions as stated by the Center for Disease Control as officers continue to do their jobs. Chief of Police, Delbert Keel asks that residents take precautions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The Police Department encourages residents to avoid large crowds to reduce unnecessary exposure or accidental exposure during this outbreak.

These actions are to protect our employees as well as our customers, therefore, the Town of Rosepine will offer assistance to those who are affected by COVID-19 and suffer financial hardships. Temporary payment plans and extensions will be available for payment of utilities and traffic citations. While this is a difficult decision, it is the right thing to do to insure we are minimizing the risk for our customers and community.
